“RSI Names Hinding Tennis the 10 and Under Tennis Developer of the Year!”
10 and Under Tennis is an exciting new play format for learning tennis, designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to age and size. 10 and Under Tennis follows the same logic as other youth sports like baseball or soccer, which use kid-sized courts and kid-sized equipment.
With 10 and Under Tennis sized courts, balls bounce lower, don’t move as fast through the air and are easier to hit. Kids tennis racquets are sized for small hands and courts are smaller and easier to cover. By using this format, the benefits are immediate and within a short time kids are rallying, playing, and excited to keep playing. That means kids will have more fun and less frustration. They’re playing real tennis and having real fun—and that’s what is most important.
Hinding Tennis, the 10 and Under Tennis Court Developer of the Year has worked closely with the USTA to develop more courts for kids to play on. Painting permanent 36′ and 60′ tennis lines, converting 78′ tennis courts into 36′ tennis courts, or constructing stand-alone 36′ and 60′ tennis courts for 10 and under tennis is the next step in creating permanency and changing the face of tennis in America. Let Hinding Tennis help you through the modifications.
The USTA also offers facility resources and grants to many programs. Contact Tom Hinding at Hinding Tennis and he will help you in the application process for 10 and Under tennis court/program assistance.
