When it comes to sports, safety is a top priority.

Athletes take measures to ensure they are safe while playing, by warming up, wearing appropriate clothing and shoes, and following game rules. It’s important to also ensure the court is well-maintained. 

In any gymnasium, safety inspections of the court and equipment are critical. This helps to keep both athletes and spectators safe, especially as gyms are reopening and will allow for more people to watch games. 

Because safety is one of our top priorities, The Hinding Group provides free safety inspections. One of our Certified Spalding Gym Pro Representatives will inspect all gym equipment, including:

• Divider curtains
• Scoreboards
• Basketball backstops
• Electric motors
• Manual winches
• Safety straps
• Volleyball floor sleeves
• Support cables
• Support structures

During the inspection, all items that are not visibly damaged will be operated multiple times, and a written report will be submitted upon completion. The report includes:

• Evaluation of the gym’s equipment
• Recommendations for additional work need to prolong the longevity of equipment
• Details on any safety issues and next steps to correct any issues
