Take Lessons from a Coach
If you are new or looking to improve your game, what better way to learn than taking lessons? A coach will teach you everything you need to know, from the basic rules to more advanced skills. Even 30 minutes a week can make a huge difference in your game!
Compete in a Tournament
Have you always just played tennis for fun? Find a tournament near you to test your skills, meet other players, and increase your drive to practice.
Organize a Youth Team
Share the sport you love with up-and-coming athletes. Whether you are qualified to coach, or want to put your organizational skills to the test, this is an excellent way to introduce the game of tennis to the next generation. You don’t need to be a superstar player – an interest in the sport and strong organizational skills are all you need.
Join a Tennis League
A quick search online will deliver results for tennis clubs and leagues in your area. You can improve your game and meet other locals who are playing tennis. Tennis leagues vary from competitive tournament players to those who meet a couple of times a month for some exercise and socialization. Find a group that meets your interests!
Grab a Partner and Play at a Local Park
There are public tennis courts all over the country. In fact, many professional players got their start in a public park. Hit up different courts, find your favorite, and bring along a friend for a fun afternoon playing the game.
